With one hundred STEM-enthusiastic kids from more than 30 states gathering at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to present their innovative science projects at the 2014 White House Science Fair (#WHScienceFair), it becomes even more evident why STEM education is crucial to the well-rounded development of children and the nation. Now in it’s fourth year, this year’s White House Science Fair placed a particular emphasis on girls and women in STEM.
